ccInvoices 1.0 is coming along nicely, and will hopefully be stable soon. We will probably miss our July deadline for 1.0, but the good news is that I already received version 1.1 for testing this week. Because ccInvoices 1.1 is also looking really promising, I created a short demo video for any interested users.

ccInvoices 1.1 will have frontend invoice viewing (for your customers). It will be really easy to add Joomla! users to a certain contact, so they can log in to your website to view and download invoices. In ccInvoices 1.2, we will also add the ability to pay invoices online (with Paypal and iDEAL).

Our oldest extension, cciDEAL, is now also licensed with the GPL software license (and reduced in price to €99)! That means that all our extensions are now "open source", just like Joomla! and Virtuemart. Two great benefits for you:

• You can install our extensions on an unlimited number of websites after your purchase
• You have full access to our extensions code, and can do any modifications needed

Now that Joomla! 1.6 beta is released, different community members have posted video and text tutorials about the new features in Joomla! 1.6. One of those community members is Joomla! 1.6 lead developer Andrew-Eddie, which posted at least 9 video's. In case you did not notice, the Joomla! project has released version 1.5.18 and Joomla! 1.6 Beta 3.

For Joomla! 1.6: this beta version is not for use on production websites! It is intended to be used for evaluation purposes only. You can install it to get to know the next great version of Joomla! and report any bugs you find to the Joomla! Bug Squad.
