We are canceling one of our extensions, ccUsers. This blog post explains why, and what current ccUsers customers should expect. 

First of all: we stay dedicated to providing a quality experience when using our Joomla! extensions. Current ccUsers customers can count on our continued support and access to all updates until their subscription is expired (one year after purchase). Expect ccUsers patch updates when we run into major bugs and/or security issues. 

Then, the reason(s) for canceling ccUsers. 

ccUsers is our least successful extension. Sales have always been very low, which resulted in high costs (or low ROI) for us to keep developing and supporting the extension. Before and during development of the first version, we have clearly over estimated the need Joomla! users have for an extension with these features. Although I found the features quite convincing (user friendly registration, white lists/black lists, built in captcha security etc), our customers where not impressed. 

And, at Chill Creations, we want to impress. We want you to love our extensions. We want us to love our extensions. And if you don't, and we don't, we should be focusing our energy elsewhere. On a new ccVAOM interface for example.
