Extension updates 31 January
This is a short post to inform you that today we have released patch versions for one, or multiple, of our extensions. A patch version of an extension can be seen as primarily a bug fix release. Our goal is to release a patch version every two weeks if any bugs are reported for a certain extension.
Read more for an overview of the affected extensions, new version numbers and quick links to the changelog, downloads, and update instructions. If your previous order is still active, this is a free update/download, otherwise you could consider placing a new order.

cciDEAL 2.2.8 with new security certificates
We have just released cciDEAL 2.2.8, which now has the new security Bank certificates integrated by default. For users using older versions of cciDEAL for Virtuemart, it is important to read the following FAQ about the "unknown fingerprint" or "vingerafdruk onbekend" error and the impending changes to iDEAL!
cciDEAL 2.2.7 for Virtuemart 1.1.8
We have just released cciDEAL 2.2.7 which adds support for Virtuemart 1.1.8 to cciDEAL for Virtuemart. We advice you to upgrade to Virtuemart 1.1.8 as soon as possible, as 1.1.8 is a security release!
Virtuemart 1.1.6 and Virtuemart 1.5 beta
The Virtuemart team has released two new versions! Virtuemart 1.1.6 is a bug fix release which fixes many long standing bugs. It also introduces some bugs, that could potentially disable your site. So only upgrade to Virtuemart 1.1.6 is you have time to backup, test and fix your site before you put it online. There are already 11 bugs reported for Virtuemart 1.1.7, so it is not a strange idea to wait for that version.
cciDEAL 2.2.4 for Virtuemart 1.1.6 and PHP5.3
We have just released cciDEAL 2.2.4 which adds support for Virtuemart 1.1.6 to cciDEAL for Virtuemart. We also tested cciDEAL 2.2.4 with PHP5.3. Support for Virtuemart 1.1.6 and PHP5.3 are the only changes in cciDEAL 2.2.4, so you only need to upgrade if you want to start using Virtuemart 1.1.6 or PHP5.3. We do not advice upgrading to Virtuemart 1.1.6, as there are no security issues fixed, but 1.1.6 does add new bugs. If possible, wait for Virtuemart 1.1.7.
Extension updates 26 August
During the month of August we released updates for all our extensions. Luckily, upgrading a ccExtension is really easy; just install it over the existing version via the Joomla! installer! Only cciDEAL users should read this article about upgrading to cciDEAL 2.2.2 first.
The updates mostly contain bug fixes, but ccInvoices, cciDEAL Platform and ccVAOM also received major functionality updates. Their product pages will be updated to reflect the new functionality soon.

cciDEAL 2.2.2 - with support for Virtuemart 1.1.5
We have just released cciDEAL 2.2.2 which adds support for Virtuemart 1.1.5 to cciDEAL. Support for Virtuemart 1.1.5 is the only change in cciDEAL 2.2.2 from 2.2.1, so you only need to upgrade if you want to start using Virtuemart 1.1.5. We advice upgrading because of fixed security issues in Virtuemart 1.1.4.
cciDEAL Virtuemart is now commercial GPL
Our oldest extension, cciDEAL, is now also licensed with the GPL software license (and reduced in price to €99)! That means that all our extensions are now "open source", just like Joomla! and Virtuemart. Two great benefits for you:

cciDEAL 2.2.1: easier install in Virtuemart
This month we released cciDEAL 2.2.1 as a bug fix version, which actually had just one major improvement: an all-new installation procedure! The new installation procedure checks file and folder permissions, Zend Optimizer version and validity of the license.lic file* before the actual installation.
