ccInvoices 1.4 compatible with Joomla! 1.6/1.7
We have just released ccInvoices 1.4.1, which adds compatibility for Joomla! 1.6/1.7 to our user friendly joomla invoicing/billing extension. This is a release candidate, which means there are no known bugs, but we advice caution (and a Joomla! backup) when upgrading.
Although we have extensively tested this new version, it is entirely possible...
ccInvoices and cciDEAL Platform are very stable!
Good news if you were waiting for stable version of ccInvoices (Joomla! invoicing) or cciDEAL Platform (iDEAL payments for SOBI2 and Simple Caddy).
I have added a short message to their product pages to reflect that these extensions are very stable, but we still need to update the demo videos which mention that these extensions are still in beta. But you can absolutely purchase, download and use the current version on production websites.
You might even like the new functionality you encounter when using ccInvoices, which is also not...
Extension updates 26 August
During the month of August we released updates for all our extensions. Luckily, upgrading a ccExtension is really easy; just install it over the existing version via the Joomla! installer! Only cciDEAL users should read this article about upgrading to cciDEAL 2.2.2 first.
The updates mostly contain bug fixes, but ccInvoices, cciDEAL Platform and ccVAOM also received major functionality updates. Their product pages will be updated to reflect the new functionality soon.

ccInvoices 1.1, next generation Joomla! invoicing
ccInvoices 1.0 is coming along nicely, and will hopefully be stable soon. We will probably miss our July deadline for 1.0, but the good news is that I already received version 1.1 for testing this week. Because ccInvoices 1.1 is also looking really promising, I created a short demo video for any interested users.
ccInvoices 1.1 will have frontend invoice viewing (for your customers). It will be really easy to add Joomla! users to a certain contact, so they can log in to your website to view and download invoices. In ccInvoices 1.2, we will also add the ability to pay invoices online (with Paypal and iDEAL).
ccInvoices: online invoicing competitors
We started planning the first version of ccInvoices the other day, and I was curious to see what our [online invoicing] competition would be like. "Competition" is not just any other Joomla! extension offering invoicing functionality, but any web based application.
I found that there where many different flavors of invoicing/billing solutions, and some are really impressive! Find a list below with the few I liked most.
