Indev extension program closed
We are closing our "Indev extension" program. For the first time announced in February 2010, the program gave attention to "an extension we are considering, planning or already developing. Our indev (in development) extensions give you the chance to influence the functionality and scope of our new extensions."

Canceling ccUsers
We are canceling one of our extensions, ccUsers. This blog post explains why, and what current ccUsers customers should expect.
First of all: we stay dedicated to providing a quality experience when using our Joomla! extensions. Current ccUsers customers can count on our continued support and access to all updates until their subscription is expired (one year after purchase). Expect ccUsers patch updates when we run into major bugs and/or security issues.

No Joomla! 1.6 extensions from Chill Creations
Chill Creations will not release any Joomla! extension for Joomla! 1.6. This is less dramatic as it may sound, and in the following article I'll try to explain my motivations.
The most important reason has little to do with Joomla! 1.6 actually, but with what my goals are for Chill Creations. Also, it is important to note that Joomla! 1.7 is expected to be released in July 2011, and our decision is not for all future versions, just Joomla! 1.6.
Save 19% on all Joomla! ccExtensions now
Just a short note for European customers. In December we will start calculating the VAT/BTW over our extensions differently, so purchasing any extension today will save you 19%. At the moment, the VAT is calculated included in the price listed in our store, so as an example you eventually pay €75 for ccInvoices. In December this will be changed, so the price listed in our store is excluding VAT, and then you will eventually pay €89.25 for ccInvoices (€75 + 19% VAT).

ccNewsletter is now commercial GPL
Despite our best intentions, it proved to be hard to guarantee a steady development of ccNewsletter, and quality support for users if ccNewsletter would remain to be completely free. That is why we have decided to make ccNewsletter "commercial GPL". In this blog post, you can read more about this decision, and what changes can be expected.
The good news is that for now and the foreseeable future there will be a free version of ccNewsletter.
cciDEAL Virtuemart is now commercial GPL
Our oldest extension, cciDEAL, is now also licensed with the GPL software license (and reduced in price to €99)! That means that all our extensions are now "open source", just like Joomla! and Virtuemart. Two great benefits for you:
