A close to stable version of Virtuemart 2.0 was released recently, and I was surprised to be a little impressed! Virtuemart has a history of slow development but it looks like that is changing. We will have to wait for the stable version to make any definitive conclusions, but at least the future looks good.

The following is a sneak preview of the new interface for ccVAOM, our solution to "Virtuemart Advanced Order Management" (and PDF invoicing). The interface is simplified, less cluttered and more user friendly while retaining the extremely powerful order management options. For example the batch bar, for processing multiple orders/invoices with just a few clicks, has had an overhaul.
We have finished all other features (secret for now) for ccVAOM 2.0, and the following weeks will finish implementation of this new interface. After that, customers can expect the new version in their mail inbox!
