Languages (and translating) ccInvoices
All our extensions can be fully translated. We try to provide the full translations for at least English and Dutch. Our customers help us in providing translations into other languages. If you want to use our extensions with a language other than English, you will need to install the Joomla! translation files of that language in Joomla! first. After that, you can download and install the language files for our extension below.
It is however possible that translations are not complete. In that case you will probably see English texts in the site or administrator where you would expect a text in your language. To translate these texts, follow the instructions below.
Improve translations for everyone
All our projects are on Transifex, and managed by OpenTranslators. Transifex is a system that allows you to see and translate strings in a very easy to use web interface. To start translating:
- Go to https://opentranslators.transifex.com/
- Click on the orange "CREATE FREE ACCOUNT" button
- Go to the extension you want to translate
- Select the language you want to translate into
- Find the "Join team" button and apply!
Quick changes for yourself
What, and how, do you want to translate?
Just a few quick and easy changes - Starting in Joomla! 2.5 it is very easy to do a few small changes to language files yourself. Have a look at this tutorial about Joomla! language overrides for more details.
A lot of changes, the easy way - If you want to do more than a few changes or completely translate the language files, I recommend that you read the "Improve translations for everyone" section on the left.
A lot of changes, for pro users - A third option (for experienced users) is to use FTP to download and edit the files. They are located in /administrator/languages and /languages.
