Buying or using Chill Creations products or services implies that the customer has both read and accepted these Terms, Conditions and Policies. Chill Creations reserves the right to change or modify current Terms, Conditions and Policies without prior notice.
Subscriptions
A subscription will buy you full access to Chill Creations for the, in the subscription given subscription period. You also get full access to the ticket system, support forum and access to online documentation on how to install and use each extension developed by Chill Creations.
By signing up and paying for a subscription you, the subscriber, agree that:
- All GPL extensions (component(s), module(s) and or plugin(s)) (excluding cciDEAL, which is not GPL licensed) by Chill Creations are released as Open Source GNU GPL v. 2 license releases and as such there are no other limitations or in other ways conditions beyond those stated as per the GNU GPL V.2 license.
- There is no warranty or in any other way any form of liability on the side of Chill Creations or the developers of the extensions made available for subscribers.
During an extensions subscription you will get:
- Access to extensions downloads, and all updates for the duration of the subscription
- Direct, individual and official support via our ticket system
- Access to the extensions documentation on the Chill Creations website
After the subscription expires you can use the extension without restrictions, forever. You can keep installing the latest version that you have downloaded during your subscription on any website. But you will no longer be able to get extension updates, support or access to the documentation.
Although the number of downloads are not limited, subscriptions cannot be shared. Sharing or other methods which allow for multiple, simultaneous downloads (and thereby affect the performance of this web site) are strictly forbidden and may result in termination of your subscription.
Software license
Applicable Chill Creations extensions are licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (version 2, see the full GPL license for details).
You are authorized to make any necessary modification(s) to the products to fit your purposes. Redistribution of the original or any modified version must always be done in accordance with the GNU GPL license. In this case, you must also not change or remove the copyright information in the header of the xml descriptor file or the php file. Please contact us if you have any requirements that are not covered by these terms.
Support
Clients with an active subscription can request direct and official support from Chill Creations for the subscriptions extension via our ticket system. If a subscription is no longer active, the right to request support expires as well.
All users can request support (and search) the support forums. The support forums are meant for user-to-user/community support, not for direct and/or official support from Chill Creations. Chill Creations does not commit to monitor these forums, but we reserve the right to respond and answer questions. Chill Creations does not guarantee that users will receive direct and fast support via the forums.
Chill Creations offers these products ‘as is’, with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you wish or with all 3rd party components and modules. Further, we don’t offer support via email or otherwise for installation, customization, administration of Joomla etc.
Refund policy
All software download purchases from Chill Creations are non-refundable, which you acknowledge to understand upon registering on our site. Software, once copied, cannot be returned like a physical product thereby offering no protection to Chill Creations for fraudulent returns. Please make sure that you have made a solid and informed decision before purchasing one of our subscriptions.
Termination
We have the right to terminate your access to any or all of our products and services at any time, without notice, for any reason, including without limitation, breach of these Terms and Conditions. We may also at any time, at our sole discretion, discontinue the products, website or services or any part thereof without prior notice and you agree that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the products, website or services.
Copyright & ownership
The customer may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any Chill Creations products, modified or unmodified. All products are and remain the property of Chill Creations except where the ownership clearly lies with other parties (such as for third-party libraries).
Chill Creations respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us about the matter.
Warranty
Chill Creations products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall the juridical person of Chill Creations be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use Chill Creations products.
We cannot guarantee that our products or services will function with all 3rd party components as there is currently no certification process for such components. Browser compatibility should be tested on the demo prior to subscription. Please ensure that the browsers you use will work with the products as we cannot guarantee that the products will function properly with all browser combinations.
All of the products are designed for the latest version of Joomla! 1.5, but we can give no guarantee that the products will run with future versions of Joomla!.
Though we cannot control all the sites or customers that subscribe we do not support or allow for use of our products or services on adult or gambling sites.
