Take a fresh look on how file downloads in Joomla! should be done. Now that the Joomla! articles are no longer limited to the Sections > Categories structure, why not offer your downloads inside your Joomla! articles? That's what ccDownloads does! Add files directly into Joomla! articles and generate automatic download buttons.

Easy file management
Files are not managed in yet another download extension, but directly in your Joomla! articles. When editing a Joomla! article, open ccDownloads with the editor button to add, edit and remove files.
Automatic permissions control
Depending on file permissions, the download button switches between three states; download, no access and unpublished. This allows you to show the correct button to site visitors.
User friendly access messages
The simple access messages allow site administrators to communicate download specific instructions to site visitors. Messages depend on visitor and file permissions.
Built in extensive file security
By default adding files to Joomla! is not secure as visitors can find the file location (URL), allowing anyone to download files without visiting the site. ccDownloads has automatic tools against this behaviour.
Works with all languages
