To customize the subscription module, you will need to edit these files (via FTP):

• For CSS: modules/mod_ccnewsletter/assets/newsletter.css
• For HTML: modules/mod_ccnewsletter/tmpl/default.php

But remember, when you upgrade the module in the future, your changes will be lost if you don't back them up and re-apply.
