Improvements

• Moved all frontend styles from backend css file into a frontend css file.

  • A random number is generated behing all physical files, so direct access is harder/impossible to quess. This ID is only used internally and will not be shown to administrators or customers.
  • A .htaccess is added to the PDF and CSV directory to block direct access to PDF and CSV files.
  • All download links are now hidden/use a token so changing a link does not show other invoices.
  • File structure is improved, moving PDF and CSV files to seperate directories.

Automated processing v2

There have been major improvements to the automated processing plugin. If you are a new user you can install ccVAOM 2.0.x and view the option under the configuration. If you are a ccVAOM 1.x user, take extra precautions! The best workflow is to disable the automated processing plugin in ccVAOM 1.x, then update to ccVAOM 2.0.x. After that continue to the configuration and set the new automated processing options to your needs. 

• Implemented advanced automated processing of orders (and invoices, order lists, packing slips)
• Improved stability by adding maximum processing rules, eg. only 5 orders will be processed per page load
• Improved website load during processing of orders by not creating the PDFs and e-mail them, but only adding a download link to the e-mails. This should improve the processing on slow shared hosting accounts
• Added option in automated processing to (bcc) e-mail documents to any addresses

Templates

For ccVAOM 1.x users:  If you are updating from a previous version, you will also need to review the new order template and copy new details to your customized template. ccVAOM will not overwrite your templates when upgrading. 

For ccVAOM 2.0.x beta testers: one important change is the removal of direct PDF document attachements, and the addition of PDF document download links. To improve the performance of ccVAOM and your website, PDFs will now no longer be created and e-mailed as attachment to your customers. Your customers will now receive an e-mail with a download link, and the PDF will only be created if that download link is used. You will need to update your e-mail templates with that download link.
