Configuration for Sisow
This chapter explains what needs to be done to activate a Sisow account in combination with cciDEAL. The below steps only need to be done once per website and once per account.
Check your Sisow account
Sisow will not work if the Sisow account is not activated correctly and completely. To save your own and our time, please make sure the Sisow account is active before you continue with configuring cciDEAL.
- Go to https://www.sisow.nl/
- Login with the correct account you want to use with cciDEAL
- Find and click “Account activeren” (under a list of blue circles with the white arrows)
- Follow all the steps listed there to make sure your account is activated
- If Sisow confirmed the account is active, continue with this manual.
Configuring cciDEAL
- After your account is activated, go to https://www.sisow.nl/
- Login with the correct account you want to use with cciDEAL
- Select “Mijn profiel” (second option in a list of blue circles with the white arrows)
- In the first tab “Algemeen” there is a box on the right called “Merchant gegevens”
- Keep this page/tab open in your browser or copy and paste the Merchant ID and Merchant Key to a seperate file
- Go to the administrator of the Joomla! website
- Once you are logged in, go to Components > cciDEAL > Configuration
- You now see the configuration of cciDEAL
- Start entering your preferred settings. You can hover over the text to get an explanation of each setting.
- The “Account ID” is called a “Merchant ID” by Sisow. Copy and paste the Merchant ID to the correct field in cciDEAL (see step 5).
- The “Merchant key” is the same in Sisow website and cciDEAL. Copy and paste the Merchant ID to the correct field in cciDEAL (see step 5).
- When the configuration of cciDEAL is completed, click “Save”
Complete a test payment
Perform a test payment. If you set Sisow to “test” in cciDEAL, a cancelled payment in the iDEAL pages of the bank will be registered and communicated to the website as a successful/paid payment. This is nice for testing the payments, but do not forget to set Sisow back to “production” in cciDEAL after testing!
- Configure cciDEAL for test payments
- Go to the Joomla! website administrator and then Components > cciDEAL > Configuration
- Set “Account status” to “Test” in cciDEAL
- Configure Sisow for test payments
- Go to https://www.sisow.nl/
- Login with the correct account you want to use with cciDEAL
- Go to “Mijn profiel” select tab “Geavanceerd” and check the “Testen met behulp van simulator (toestaan)” checkbox
- Create a test payment in Joomla!
- Go to the Joomla! website, and the extension where iDEAL payments can be made
- Start making a payment, make sure, when you return to the website, you get a green warning explaining the payment was successful.
- Also go to the administrator, then Component > cciDEAL > Payments and make sure the latest payment has status “Paid”.
- If the extension you are using has a transactions or order view, go there and make sure the payment or order also has status “Paid” or “Confirmed”
- If the status is updated to paid in the website, iDEAL via Sisow is working correctly.
- Now continue with the manual and make a real “production” payment
Complete a real payment
